Why and how
The purpose of VirProFood2014 is to provide a forum to discuss the most recent advancements in modeling and simulation of processes in food engineering.
Experts, from industry and academia, will present approaches, methodologies, practice and software, to define the state of art and to foresee the future challenges and prospectives.
The Symposium is aimed to bridge different areas in the field of virtualization, including transport phenomena analysis, formal modeling, multi-physics approach, virtual prototyping and design, optimization.
The programme of VirProFood 2014 includes key lecture, workshops and a final scientific conference.
VirProFood 2014 is an event placed in the framework of celebrations for the birth fourth centenary of Italian physician, philosopher and mathematician Tommaso Cornelio (Rovito - Italy, 1614 - Naples, Italy, 1684), one of the main personalities who introduced modern thought and science in the Italian peninsula and in the kingdom of Naples.
